I'm always amazed at the creative things people come up with! I stumbled upon a pamphlet for
a retro rental in Budapest and had to check out the website. I've never seen the rental myself, so I can't say if it's reputable or not, but I thought the vintage tub turned sofa was the
neatest idea. Not sure how they filed it to keep it from being slice and dicey, but how cute would this be for an entry way? What a great use for a vintage tub that might have some irreparable damage or isn't water tight. You know
I love making use of things that no one wants!
Seriously, the tub-couch is so fun.
The same company has another retro-themed apartment too. It's cute, but the other one is cheerier. Plus, did I mention the tub-couch?
Just a little eye candy for you, all the way from Budapest! All photos from
Aventurapartments.
DeleteI get the feeling you like the tub-couch! I do too. It's pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteHaha, oh I do!
Deletewhat a cute little place! I've seen a how-to on the tub sofa- no easy feat. That would be a tricky diy.
ReplyDeleteI love those 'tub' chairs in the living room- great retro colour!
You've seen a how-to? That's so awesome. I imagine that would be an intense project. The chairs are so cute, aren't they? Such a random little cluster, though, lol.
