Anyway, check out the gorgeous styling below. The backdrop of creamy whites and mid-century mod furnishings really makes the rich colours of the artwork pop. Kind of what I'm going for, but I need more whites and brighter pops of artwork. My pieces meet too much in the middle. I'll file this away for inspiration!

ReplyDeleteI love this, which surprises me too, since I usually don't go for portraits.
ReplyDeleteI love it. I think it looks great. I think it is great that you will be branching out. I have a series that I've started that is a total departure from my abstracts. Mine isn't for my home though, just painting therapy of sorts. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I know you are a big fan of turquois-ee stuff. If you get a chance, come take a peek at my before and after craigslist makeover.
This space is perfect! The painting really stands out against the stark white! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehey, lovin' your blog! Are you the fantastic artist that has created those pieces in your bedroom and dining? Amazing work!
