Art Attack: Black Flower

Via a glimpse of The Art Institute of Chicago's modern wing, curtesy of Things That Sparkle, I was introduced to this fantastic painting.  You know I'm a sucker for a silhouette . . .  

Is there anything that you pine for the way I pine for silhouettes?
